We offer Open Water courses starting in January and continue through the early Fall. Our next course for 2010 season will be a three-week Sunday course that will begin on Sunday, March 21. The first classroom session on the 21st will be a classroom session only (no pool) and will be held from 4pm-7:30pm at North Atlantic Scuba in Marshfield. The course will continue on Sundays, March 28 and April 11 with the classroom sessions held at N.A.S. from 4pm-6pm. The pool sessions will continue later on those same two evenings from 7pm-10pm at the Healthtrax Pool in Hanover. The two days of open water dives (four total ocean dives) that will complete your certification will be done over one weekend in the late spring (when our local waters clear up).

The tuition for the course is $350.00 and pre-registration is now taking place. We require a $200.00 deposit to reserve a seat with the balance of $150.00 due the first classroom session. Deposits can be made in person or charged over the phone. (We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.) The tuition covers a notebook, student record folder, textbook, logbook, DVD, dive tables, certification fees and a picture certification card. In addition, we include all of the equipment needed in the pool sessions. Equipment for the open water dives may be purchased or rented at a student discount.
